This study focuses on the costs associated with integrating accessibility features into existing affordable housing.
Five home models were studied: a two-bedroom bungalow, a two-bedroom semi-detached house, a three-bedroom detached house, a three-bedroom townhouse and a two-bedroom apartment (condominium).
The costs of incorporating adaptability and accessibility features into the 5 existing home models were determined for 5 Canadian cities: Montréal, Toronto, Vancouver, Halifax and Winnipeg
