If you’ve registered for the event, please refer to the

Notice of filming and photography
Please note that by attending the National Housing Conference, you may be photographed, filmed or recorded. Your attendance at this event implies your full consent to capture and use such media for public promotional activities.
If you prefer not to appear in our event image library, please inform the event organizer or simply ask the photographer. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Arriving at the conference
Don't forget to allow yourself enough time to pick up your badge, join us for breakfast and find your seat in the main plenary. Please note, you may be asked to provide proof of registration at the hotel’s entrance.
Registration desk hours
Monday, March 18: 8:00am – 6:00pm
Tuesday, March 19: 7:00am – 3:00pm
Wifi
Wifi will be available in all meeting rooms. If you’ve registered, you will receive logon and access codes.
Name badges
Official conference name badges must be worn at all times. Only delegates wearing a badge will be admitted to sessions and the main plenary.
Badge scanning
Your conference badge will include a QR code to provide organizers with real-time information about attendees' arrivals, which is used for tracking attendance and managing crowd flow.
Concurrent sessions
Concurrent sessions require advance registration in the mobile app or by visiting the registration desk. Please note that spaces in the concurrent sessions are limited. Register early for your preferred sessions to avoid disappointment.
Your name badge will be scanned to monitor room capacity as some sessions have limited capacity. Those who registered to attend the session will be admitted first.
Simultaneous interpretation
Simultaneous interpretation will be available in all meeting rooms and will require a receiver, which can be obtained from the Registration Desk. Please be sure to return the receiver for charging at the end of the day.
Note: To borrow a receiver, you will be required to sign it out by leaving your name and cellphone number
Connection Café
Break away from the crowd and connect with other delegates for more relaxed and meaningful conversations. Grab a coffee and get collaborative! Light refreshments will be served.
Prayer/Wellness lounge
A dedicated meditation and quiet prayer room, designed for your comfort and well-being. Please note – to maintain a peaceful atmosphere, this area is an electronic device-free zone.

Your participation in the National Housing Conference is voluntary and should you not agree with the foregoing you may choose to not register. Withholding personal information or an incomplete registration may restrict your access to the Conference.
The collection and use of your personal information is protected under the provisions of the Access to Information Act and the Privacy Act and is retained and used as described in the Standard Personal Information Bank entitled Outreach Activities, PSU 938, which can be found in CMHC’s Info Source Publication on our website.
The Privacy Act provides individuals with a right to access their personal information that is under the control of CMHC, to request corrections of their personal information and to file a complaint to the Privacy Commissioner of Canada regarding CMHC’s handling of personal information. Photo and video policy
CMHC reserves the right to use any photo or video images recorded at the National Housing Conference. By registering for the National Housing Conference, you hereby acknowledge and agree that the CMHC (or its agents) may photograph and/or video you at this event, as well as use the photographs and/or videos in any publication or media for future educational and promotional activities/materials, without further notification or any compensation to you. For example, the selected images may assist in the promotion of future events and may be used in professional displays, advertisements, printed publications, and/or on any of the CMHC websites. You also acknowledge and agree to waive any right to inspect or approve any future educational and promotional activities/materials that may include photographs and/or videos of you.
Payment, Cancellations and Substitutions
Payment
Registration fees must be paid in full at the time of registration. Accepted payment methods include VISA, MasterCard or American Express.
Please note that 13% HST will be added to the registration fees. HST#: 100756428
Cancellations and substitutions
- Cancellations made by Tuesday, February 13, 2024, 11:30 p.m. (EST) are eligible for a refund, less a $100 CAD administration fee.
- Starting Wednesday, February 14, 2024, 12:01 a.m. (EST), registration fees become non-refundable. However, substitutions (another person attending in the place of the original registrant) are permitted at no extra cost.
- Cancellation and substitution requests must be made in writing by the original registrant.
- For substitutions, please include the replacement’s name, telephone number and email address with your request.
- Please send written requests for cancellation and substitution to: cmhc-schl@intertaskconferences.com.
