CMHC’s National Housing Strategy Longitudinal Outcomes Research provided funding to research teams in Canada. Initiated in October 2023, the project is currently in progress at Carleton University.
The Grant is part of the National Housing Strategy and is a partnership between Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) and CMHC. SSHRC administers the program and CMHC provides the funding.

A Safe and Affordable Place to Call Home: A Multi-disciplinary Longitudinal Outcomes Analysis of the National Housing Strategy
This research examines long term outcomes of investments in affordable housing. It focuses on socio-economic and health outcomes, climate impacts and mitigation, housing finance, housing alternatives and Indigenous and northern housing.
