Solutions Labs requires applicants to find and collaborate with experts in the design and implementation of their lab. We recommend involving your partner in the development of the proposal and approach used in your lab.

It is the applicant’s responsibility to find and obtain an innovation consultant. In the search of expert partners, applicants should consider the following:

  • CMHC has identified and assessed a number of solution labs consultants that can play this role for the applicant.
  • Applicants may identify and include other consultants not on the CMHC list in their applications.
  • New consultants must meet minimum requirements regarding their experience in designing and delivering Social Innovation Labs.
  • Applicants and their consultants can initiate a review of minimum requirements request before the application process is closed.

More details can be found in the Solutions Labs Applicants’ Guide.
