Find homeownership trends over the last 10 years across Canada. This report evaluates these trends and looks at how:
- homeownership rates in Canada’s major cities have declined slightly since 2006 (but they are higher than they were in 1996)
- homeowners are still more likely than not to hold a mortgage (especially higher income households) than before
- Canadian Millennials have higher homeownership rates than the historical average for the under 34 cohort
